30 Day UK Returns Policy

Returning orders to us is easy. Whatever your reason, we offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery or collection.

You must complete the returns form and send it back to us with the items you are returning – If your item is returned without a fully completed returns form included it may take significantly longer to correctly process the return.

We offer a selection of ways for you to return items, details of which are below. Please note that you remain responsible for items until they reach us & for the cost of any packaging.

Unless faulty, items returned must be returned in their original packaging intact and in a re-saleable condition. Item(s) returned with incomplete, damaged packaging or missing tags may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

All items will be inspected by the teams handling returns before processing any refunds. Items that have clearly been worn, washed, heat-moulded or returned in an unsuitable condition maybe refused.

Exchange If you wish to exchange an item for any reason, we can only exchange it for the same item in a different size / colour, subject to availability. If an exchange is not possible for a Gift, we can issue a Switchback Cycles Gift Voucher (GBP) which will be sent to the email address which was used to place the order.

Bikes please contact customer service if you wish to return a bike. If a bike needs to be returned due to an incorrect size being ordered, or the bike is no longer wanted or ordered in error, then a collection will be arranged at a cost of £30.00. If you do not wish to use our collection service, then any alternative return service can be arranged at your own cost.

Non-returnable Items

  • Face Masks
  • Undergarments* (inc. Socks)
  • Shoes that have been heat-moulded (Switchback Cycles cannot be held accountable for improper heat moulding)
  • Nutrition products opened, out-of-date or within 3 months of the sell-by date
  • Gift Voucher or eGift Vouchers
  • Custom bike orders

The above list cannot be exchanged or refunded except for where items are faulty.

*Item(s) can be tried on for sizing, however, please DO NOT wear items over your skin when trying on for hygiene reasons, shorts MUST be tried on with clean underwear.

Faulty Items, Customers can return faulty goods for a full and complete refund or exchange. We will arrange this return. If you do not wish to use our return service, then any alternative return service can be arranged at your own cost and Switchback Cycles will not be responsible for the return back to us.

If your goods are faulty please contact the Customer Service team via our contact form before returning them.

Refunds If you paid using a credit, debit card, Klarna, PayPal, PayPal Credit or Apple Pay, our returns team will send you an email letting you know we have recived your goods and will then process your refund after checking your items and returns form.

The time banks take to process payments can vary please allow 5 working days for a refund to appear in your account

Returns Methods


All items purchased online or instore can be returned to Switchback Cycles Store in Hornsea, East Yorkshire. Just take the goods you want to return accompanied with the dispatch note or receipt and the store team will be happy to assist you.

If you paid using a credit or debit card, please make sure you have this with you so we can process a refund.

If you paid using Klarna, our returns team we will process your refund.

The time banks take to process payments can vary. Please allow 5 working days for a refund to appear in your account.

Please contact us for a returns lable or you can make your own arrangements through any postal carrier. We recommend you use a service that can provide proof of postage as the items remain your responsibility until we receive your parcel. Some services offer levels of compensation in case your parcel becomes lost or damaged. We suggest this is considered especially when returning high value items.
